How this works
The 50/30/20 rule splits take-home income into three buckets: 50% for needs, 30% for wants, and 20% for savings or extra debt payoff. Add every recurring expense, tag it with the bucket it belongs to, and this page totals each bucket and compares it to your target.
Everything you enter is stored only in this browser (using localStorage) — closing the tab won't lose it, but it also won't follow you to a different device or browser, since there's no account or server involved. Use the export button any time you want a backup or want to move your data somewhere else.
